North Pocono – Thornhurst, PA
Pocono residents are bracing for more snow. About a week ago, we received a half foot of snow that has overstayed its welcome. A few days after that, we were getting ready to get pounded by Winter Storm Juno but, to the chagrin of the more extreme snow enthusiasts, the massive storm system shifted in the 11th hour and totally whiffed by our area. Now there are predictions of 8″-12″ of snowfall for Super Bowl Sunday evening into Monday in The Poconos.
Keep those shovels handy! Don’t forget to refill the windshield washer fluid in your vehicles! And, as always, be mindful of the animals that wander the woods and streets of our remote towns! Stay safe everyone!
