Pocono Lake is a small town in the Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania accessible via state route 940 that is broken down, largely, into a few different private communities. In Arrowhead Lakes you will find two large lakes (90 acres and 260 acres) complete with beaches and picnic areas, 3 heated olympic-size swimming pools (complete with “kiddy pool” area, concession stand, restrooms, and playground areas), basketball and tennis courts (meticulously maintained), and “The Lodge” – a large lakefront community building that houses a dining hall, small library, lounger with big screen TV and furniture, billiards room, and fitness center – plus, breathtaking views of the “big” lake. • Locust Lake Village – this community offers 4 lakes and a centralized location accessible to the main artery of Pocono Lake, route 940. Across the lakes you will find a few beaches with other amenities such as basketball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds, a pavilion with lots of space to picnic, and a “weather permitting” ski hill that can be used when the conditions are right in the winter.
